And we know that our communities are better off when our schools are fully funded, when our police are accountable, when it's easy to vote and hard for the wrong people to get a gun.
We work to get our community out to vote. And no matter how hard they make it for us, we vote Democrat every election.
The ​​Blue Action Democrats of South Central Austin (BASCA) are active in our community year-round, helping keep voters informed about the issues they care about.

Becoming a member of BASCA is an easy and inexpensive way to become a part of the movement that's turning Texas blue. An individual membership is only $25/year. Students can join for $15. Your whole family can join for $60. Or, if you want to be one of our sustaining members, you can join for $90.
If you choose to donate, Blue Action is one of the best investments for your political dollar. We're a grassroots organization. We organize all year round. We keep people interested and engaged even when there's no election going on. None of our money goes to Washington consulting firms. It stays in Texas to get out the vote for Democrats.
